Board Member Spotlight: Aman Singh, A Finance Professional with a Passion for Community Impact

Last month, we announced four additions to Reach's Board of Directors, including Aman Singh. This month we are featuring Aman and what drove him to join the Board.

A finance and accounting professional who has lived in Montgomery County for over 20 years, Aman brings both community ties and valuable expertise to our organization. He got involved after seeing our LinkedIn post seeking new board members. Aman was drawn to Reach by our strong local presence and the breadth of our programming. He is particularly committed to improving access to medical care for underserved populations, a cause that aligns with the work of the Mansfield Kaseman Health Clinic.

“I was in search of opportunities to join a board of an organization which was deeply rooted and involved in the Montgomery County community. When the opportunity to join Reach’s board emerged, I was blown away by the variety of programs the organization offers to support our community and was instantly interested in joining,” he shared.

Aman, a Director of Audit and Assurance at Sikich, hopes to use his background to support Reach’s continued growth and sustainability, in particular to assist the organization in maintaining financial diligence.

Outside of his professional life, Aman enjoys traveling—visiting at least one new country each year—and spending time with his teenage son, an avid junior golfer. A fun fact? Aman used to be a bhangra dancer (traditional North Indian folk dancing) and even performed at a Washington Mystics halftime show! He’s recently rekindled his love for this type of dance.
