ROCKVILLE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (REAP)
Financial Assistance and Connection to Resources
In 1981, the City of Rockville asked Reach to help residents avoid eviction and utility termination with the City's financial assistance. The Rockville Emergency Assistance Program (REAP) began by offering that assistance a few hours each week with an all volunteer staff.
Over 40 years later, REAP serves all of Montgomery County, helping create more stable communities by keeping families and individuals in their homes. REAP helps prevent homelessness, long-term damage to residents' finances, and major disruptions caused by eviction like changing schools, breaking up communities, and more. REAP also serves as a hub for connecting residents in need to resources that improve their overall well-being.

Every class had different topic for discuss new activities and vocabulary. The interactive exercises and discussions helped me learn how to think in English, instead of simply translating from my native language.
