Holiday Giving

Holiday Giving at Community Ministries of Rockville provides meals, gifts, and gift cards to those in need during the holiday season. Community Ministries of Rockville hosts a holiday party for clients and their families, providing gifts for children and a visit from Santa.

Give a Meal, Give a Gift Card, Give an Hour. Make a Difference.

Thousands of individuals and families will go without during the holidays. You can make a difference in their lives. Share in the holiday spirit and help make the holidays special for those less fortunate. There are a number of ways you can help Community Ministries of Rockville make the holidays a joyful time of year for those in need.

Give a Meal

Community Ministries of Rockville (CMR) is a member of the Holiday Giving Project Coalition of Montgomery County. As such, we will be providing holiday baskets to over 400 families living in zip codes 20850, 20851, 20852 and 20854 for Thanksgiving and 20854 for Christmas. We need your help collecting food baskets with donations to provide for a family of eight.

Give a Card

Every year CMR distributes hundreds of gift cards to those in need. We also host a holiday party for our clients and their families and give a gift card to all the children of our programs. 250 gift cards (Target or Walmart) in denominations of $15 for the children served by our programs. Help us continue this tradition by donating a $20 card to Target or Walmart for a child, or a $20/$25 gift card to a grocery store for individuals or families in need.
