For one day only, Wednesday, September 9, 2015, you can purchase a Rockville Rewards card for only $15--a $10 savings! Just visit us at the following locations on September 9 to pick up your card for $15:

  • The Bean Bag Deli and Catering Co. from 11:30am - 1:30pm

  • Paladar Rockville from 11:30am - 1:30pm

  • Gordon Biersch, Rockville Town Centre from 4pm - 7pm (Happy Hour)

  • Quench at Traville Gateway from 6pm - 8pm

Description

Walk for the Homeless with Rainbow Place Shelter and Community Ministries of Rockville Housing Program. Join us for lunch at Rainbow Place Shelter followed by a lovely Walk through Downtown Rockville. Visit locations that support homeless services and pick up facts about homelessness and programs in Montgomery County. Finish the Walk at CMR's Jefferson House with refreshments. Non-walkers are invited to Rockville Rocks Home.

Not ready to go home? Join us for the second part of the day if you choose - Walk in a Parade! Be transported with other Walkers to Montgomery County's World of Montgomery Festival and Montgomery College, Rockville Campus. Walk in the short Parade with your Rockville Walks Home t-shirt, then stay and enjoy the festival if you choose.

The walk takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 11:30 am. The walk begins Rockville Presbyterian Church, 215 W. Montgomery Ave., Rockville 20850. To register, go to Rockville Walks Home. You may also register on site the day of the walk.
