Medical Director, Sheila Levin


On June 1, 2018, CMR welcomed a new medical director to the Mansfield Kaseman Health Clinic. Dr. Sheila Levin ran the gastroenterology department at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Kaiser Permanente, and, for thirty years, also had a private practice. Last fall, she retired, but had a desire to offer her skills to patients who could not easily afford healthcare. Dr. Levin began volunteering at the Clinic as a gastroenterologist and primary care physician in 2017.

Nurse Practitioner, Nancy Hartman, CRNP

Nancy Hartman

Nancy brings a high level of care and great deal of warmth to the clinic patients.

Nancy received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2011 from University of Maryland School of Nursing, Baltimore. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Nancy worked as a Registered Nurse for more than 20 years.

Nancy joined the Kaseman Clinic as our full time Nurse Practitioner in March 2015.

Nancy is the Kaseman’s Clinic main Medical Provider responsible for ongoing assessment, diagnosis and management of primary acre health needs for uninsured adults.

Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie Wright, CRNP

Stephanie Wright

Stephanie Wright serves as a Volunteer Nurse Practitioner to patients of the clinic once a week.

Stephanie joined the Kaseman Clinic Team in January of 2015.

Stephanie received her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University in 1996, and her PhD in Human Development from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1992.

Stephanie brings over 25 years of experience and provides high level of care and great commitment to the Kaseman clinic patients.

Nurse/Case Manager, Pat Schaefer

Pat Schaefer

Patricia Schaefer, BSN MS, is the Clinic’s Nurse Case Manager. As such, Pat is primary liaison between the clinical staff and the women’s homeless shelter staff and is responsible for the patients care management. Pat collaborates with referral services to ensure that patient’s specialty care needs are met. Pat is originally from Albany, NY and attended college at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. She received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her nursing experience includes a tour of duty as an active duty Army Nurse Corps officer at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit. She also served as the Head Nurse Internal Medicine Clinic at the U.S. Army’s 67th Combat Support Hospital in Wurzburg, Germany. Her most recent employment before being joining the Clinc, was at the Primary Care Coalition, Project Access as a nurse case manager.

Maribel Ramos, RN

Maribel Ramos

Maribel Ramos joined the Kaseman Health Clinic Team in October of 2010 as one of the Medical Assistants. Originally from Colombia, Maribel is fluent in Spanish and English. She brings over 20 years of medical experience to the Clinic having worked as a Nurse and Laboratory Technician in several private and public hospitals in Columbia and most recently at the Under One Roof Clinic in Rockville. As a Medical Assistant of the Kaseman Health Clinic, Maribel assists medical providers with patient care, laboratory services and referrals to specialty care.
