Executive Director, Agnes Saenz

Agnes Saenz

Agnes first joined CMR in 1991 as a volunteer accountant and soon became a full-time employee charged with updating CMR’s accounting system. Later, Agnes proposed and founded CMR’s Language Outreach Program, directing that program until 1998 when she was promoted to Managing Director. As the Managing Director, she was responsible for oversight of all direct service programs, day-to-day operations of the organization and administration oversight. In 2008, Agnes was named Executive Director of CMR, and as such, she became responsible for CMR’s administration, fundraising, advocacy, and operation of all direct service programs, including CMR’s health care program. Agnes oversaw the development of the Clinic and now serves as the Executive Director.

Agnes is fluent in both Spanish and English, knowledgeable in Latino/Hispanic culture issues and serves on several boards and commissions. Ms. Saenz is a member of the Latin American Advisory Committee for Montgomery County Executive, a member of the Montgomery Cares Advisory Board, a member of the Health Centers Leadership Council for Montgomery County Clinics and a member of the Human Services Advisory Commission for the City of Rockville. Agnes is also a graduate of the Leadership Montgomery class of 1998.

Agnes has a BS Degree in Business Administration with major in Management and Accounting from the University of Lima, Peru. She received her Masters Degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College in 2009.

Front Desk Manager: Teresita Castro

Teresita Castro

Teresita Castro serves as Front Desk Manager of the Kaseman Clinic and as such is responsible for the management of patient flow from check-in to check-out, scheduling of patients, customer service and keeping the clinic calendar. Teresita supervises the Front Desk Workers and volunteers.

Teresita joined the Clinic staff in 2009 after working in CMR’s Language Outreach Program for ten years. Teresita is bilingual in English and Spanish and with the support of her front desk team, provides guidance on the clinic eligibility and welcomes all our patients and visitors. For several years, Teresita served as Health Education Manager and prior to that as a Health Promoter herself. As the clinic grew, she was removed from those responsibilities and now assists the Executive Director as one of the Super Users in the Electronic Medical Record system including reports, provider schedules, patient schedules, and patient’s enrollment. She also assists the Executive Director with a variety of administrative duties related to clinic operations.

Health Education Manager: Esperanza Gomez

Esperanza Gomez

Esperanza Gomez serves as Health Education Manager of the Kaseman Clinic and as such is responsible for coordinating a team of Health Promoters and outreach efforts. She is also responsible for coordinating the prevention activities including health educational classes in nutrition, diabetes, and other patient needs.

Esperanza supervises a team of Health promoters and volunteers in the health education program. Esperanza represents CMR and the Kaseman Clinic in the Minority Outreach Technical

Esperanza joined the Kaseman Clinic staff in September of 2014. She brings over 8 years of Health Prevention and Promotion Experience, with specialized expertise addressing health disparities in the Latino Community.
