Housing Programs - Chase and Jefferson

Paper products -- plates, bowls, napkins, paper towels and plastic knives, forks and spoons
Cleaning products -- cleaner for floors, windows, tub, tile and toilet, laundry and dish soap
Personal toiletries -- shampoo, soap, deodorant, razors, toothpaste and toothbrushes

Kaseman Health Clinic
Bus Tokens/Gift Cards -- The Health Program is looking for donations of Ride-On bus tokens,
Metro fare cards and CVS/Giant gift cards.  Bus tokens and fare cards will be distributed to clients
to provide enhanced access to program sites.  CVS/Giant cards will be distributed to meet the cost
of prescription medication.

Latino Outreach Program (LOP)  
Childcare -- The Latino Outreach Program provides classes in English to adults and while the
adults are taking these classes, we provide childcare and child tutoring to their children of adults.  
We are looking for adults or high school students to assist with the childcare and to tutor young
children in the evenings on Tuesday and/or Thursday, starting throughout the school year.  This
position is approved for MCPS Student Service Learning Credit.  

Rockville Emergency Assistance Program (REAP)
Client Intake Staff -- REAP provides emergency financial assistance to forestall evictions/
foreclosures, the loss of a utility or to assist with the cost of prescription medication.  We are
currently seeking a volunteer to assist the REAP Director on Mondays and/or Fridays from 10 a.m.
- 2 p.m.  Volunteers meet with clients to assess their needs and to provide emergency financial
assistance or a necessary referral.  Training provided.  

Donations of Soaps and Toiletries -- REAP is seeking donations of soaps, shampoos,
toothpaste, toothbrushes and other similar items for our clients.  No mouthwash containing alcohol
please.    

Donation of Grocery and Pharmacy Food Cards -- Often clients need more food assistance than
what is provided by area food banks or need diapers and items not available at the food banks,  
and there is little to no help for over-the counter medical items.

Elderly Ministries & the Safe and Habitable Home Project
General Senior Help  -- We are looking for a volunteer who likes to cook and would be interested
in making and delivering homemade soup to elderly clients in their homes, or who would like to
bring lunch to a senior and eat with the senior.  Also, need volunteer to make calls to seniors to
verify services.

Home Repair Worker -- The Safe and Habitable Home Project seeks volunteers with plumbing,
electrical and handyman experience to assist with different home repair projects.   The time
commitment for this is flexible.
