Chase provides 36 homeless, addicted men of Montgomery
County housing services that include; sleeping quarters,
showers, laundry facilities and meals. Services are provided
while the client progresses through his individual treatment
programs and into mainstream society.

These services will help the client manage issues that would
otherwise impede his progress. Along with the basic services,
each resident receives case management and participates in
an evening program which consists of 12-step meetings, life
skill groups, discussion groups, and relapse prevention
groups. Chase provides random urinalysis and daily alcohol
testing. A computer lab helps the clients with GED and
employment (resume writing) preparation and Chase also
includes a seasonal therapeutic recreation program designed
to help clients manage the various stressors of life.

Joseph entered Chase homeless, unemployed, addicted to alcohol,
separated from his children. He was desperate and hopeless but willing to
change his situation. After several months of residence and graduating
his day treatment program, Joseph has regained his children, is gainfully
employed at the Pentagon and is maintaining his sobriety.
